	In 2009, I purchased my dream acreage in the Creston Valley.  The only problem was that there wasn’t a house on it.  Having a house built was never something I had planned on doing during my lifetime as it seemed a daunting project to take on.  Fortunately, I had met Don Tilling and was familiar with work he had done on other quality custom homes.  I wanted a custom house built before October of 2010.  I remember telling Don that I wished I could just close my eyes and then open them and have the house be there as I was NOT looking forward to the process.  He said “Don’t worry, it’ll be fun”.  On April 5th, 2010, Don’s crew started work.  I was very quickly impressed with the level of organization and the work ethic of the whole crew, even through some pretty nasty weather.  Major progress was evident daily and the next day’s supplies were always lined up, ready to go.  The lot also needed servicing with power, water, telephone and septic and Don and his crew took all of that work on for me, with great results. 	We had been wanting to relocate to Creston for some time and when our son phoned us to say that he had found the perfect house, we sped the 1000 Kms to see it and so it was. We bought it on the spot and 9 months later, we know we made the correct decision. Don Tilling is a consummate builder who takes pride in his and his crews work. The finishing touches are done with great care.
